Meet Recap

The Varsity Girls of West Covina finished 4th at the Hacienda League Finals, which were held on Tuesday, November 1st. They were just one place shy of qualifying for CIF. The varsity team was lead by senior Jasmine Estrada who finished in the top 20 with a time of 22:29. She was followed by freshman Miranda Gallegos who finished 21st with a time of 22:38. Finishing in the 3rd and 4th place positions for West Covina were sophomores Emily Montano (22:55) and Carolina Ramirez (23:06). Claiming the fifth and final scoring position was freshman Blanca Ramirez (23:16). The varsity team was completed by sophomore Alyssa Ruiz (23:22) who finished 28th overall.
