West Covina Bulldogs Loses Lead Early In Defeat
West Covina Bulldogs watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-0 loss to Glendora on Tuesday. Glendora took the lead on a home run in the first inning.
Glendora took an early lead in the first inning. C Bahruth drove in three when she homered in the first inning.
Glendora scored three runs in the sixth inning. Glendora scored its runs on a home run by M Nemeth.
One bright spot for West Covina Bulldogs was a double by Taylor Graciano in the second inning.
A Molinari earned the win for Glendora. She threw six innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out seven, and walking one.
Nadya Orozco took the loss for West Covina Bulldogs.
She went five innings, allowing eight runs, seven hits, and striking out three.
Trinity Garcia started the game for West Covina Bulldogs.
She tossed one inning, giving up three runs, two hits, striking out two, and walking one.
Home runs for Glendora came when C Santiago homered in the second inning, Bahruth homered in the first inning, and Nemeth homered in the sixth inning.
Brisa Ramirez and Graciano all had one hit to lead West Covina Bulldogs.
Glendora had nine hits in the game. Santiago and K Woken each collected multiple hits for Glendora.
